Characteristics

Pitch, Context & Trivia

Embody a mysterious asteroid inhabited by an alien which crashed on a planet far away in space. This alien won't be able to move or quit this asteroid but it has the ability of instantiating organisms of which it'll chose the cells and genes. In DNAX, create extrarrestrial creatures, explore your environment, gather new genes by understanding and conquer the surrounding ecosystems and evolve to inhance your skills!
I have found this game concept while thinking about ideas for a game jam I was about to participate to. Indeed, I wanted to train my ability to find quick ideas on random themes and this one appeared. It didn't fit with the real theme that was annonced later but I kept it in my mind. Then some weeks after the jam I realised that I really liked the DNAX concept and identity so I decided to spend time to develop the idea and train my GD, LD, GDD making, skills. Now I'm about to prototype the first level on Unity!

What did I do?
