Pitch & Context

At the bottom of the sea, some little fishes and other sea creatures are swimming to get rid off a naughty lantern fish who's chasing them.
Sea Side Runner was the first unity and mobile game project of my team, we decided to do a classical runner type game but with a difficulty a little bit higher than hyper-casual ones.

What did I do?

As a Programmer

  • procedural map generation
  • LD bricks creation
  • tutorial programming (events)
  • assets integration
  • gameplay programming

As a Game & Level Designer

  • Game Concept, presented to the rest of the team, then discussion about it
  • level design : different bricks of various difficulty levels
  • tutorial design
  • pace and difficulty balancing
  • public speech to present our game during milestones (with presentation doc created with an artist)
